Horny usan men chat rooms

Granted what is sold today is a shadow of it's former glory.

But still nuff respect for this grand Dame, at least from me. I went to the fragrance shops this weekend to test Tabu to see if this is really unisex...

At different times I get different notes, maybe depending on how active I am. This fragrance is a trip to memory lane since it was the perfume my grandfather used to wear.

Today is a rich smoky incense aroma with wafts of spice. He was a very stylish man and oh boy he loved his cigars and his Tabu!

This fragrance is very unisex in my opinion, on my skin it smells warm, spicy and smoky. This is SO much better to me now than when I first tried it about a year ago.

This of a sweet ginger cookie with lots of cloves and amber, thats how its smells on me. I do not think it smells cheap at all but I would say this smells more like a cologne than a EDT. I’m not sure if it has changed a little since it has been opened and I’ve used some of it or if it’s just that my taste has moved on or my nose further developed.

Even if it is not as good as the vintage, the concept of the scent is retro for COLD weather. In addition, I see mature sophisticated women loving this one too. As a said, every collector should at least sniff this one.

For historical and collecting ratings, this is an easy 8/10.

I wear it sometimes to remember my grandfather and always makes me a bit teary eyed when I wear it around the house. From Tabu I get a sort of moist and warm amber, spices, sweetness, an incense kind of accord, a dry and woody vetiver, mixed florals and finally, a cassis type of a slightly pissy smell. I got into vintages after exhausting the gourmand genre (haha) and I tried Youth Dew prematurely.... It's sweeter than YD, but still too musky and old/generic. The first time I put it on it was too sweet, and reminded me of toilet bowl cleaner. Then, a week later I retrieved it from the bin and gave it one more try. One spray only, but after the drydown it's quite nice. I only get a compliment when someone gets near, or close to me. After all, the same nose that created this, Jean Charles, also created Miss Dior, back in 1947.Not an everyday fragrance for me, one that I have to be in the "mood" for; this is nice for say a rainy day or a Fall or snowy Winter day, that sort of thing. But this is still powerful with some strong dominating notes, so I do not think this is office-friendly or crowd-safe, nor anywhere you will be in close quarters with someone for all day/hours.I found a 2 oz vintage cologne on ebay for -14, and snagged it. It's diff than the modern/current cello/violin shaped EDC in that it's more animal/musky-- which was EXACTLY what I wanted. Ted Lapidus has a honey sweetness; whereas, this one has a root beer (as noted in other reviews) type of sweetness. It's a pretty square 2 oz splash bottle, thin in width, screw on black cap. I like Tabu, but I wanted some vintage dust/musk/animal/skank. It smells like an ambery "root beer-isk" musk that is slightly dirty in a weird sexual way LOL.

Before creating Tabu, he was instructed to make a fragrance for a whore (‘un parfum de puta’). Its luscious oriental floral composition starts with fresh citrus and spicy notes.
